Bratz facts: Xpress It was the third “basic” line to be released and the first to feature a new addition to the Bratz Pack, Meygan. All five dolls reuse the First Edition face screenings, but the makeup is different. Each doll came with 2 full outfits, 2 pairs of shoes, and a bag. There are 2 other Xpress It waves that were released in 2011 and 2013.
There are a total of 5 known box variants for Jade, Yasmin, Sasha, and Cloe, and 6 variants for Meygan. The “Xpress It! Fashion Collection” variant had a pink box with the Toy of the Year sticker and is the only variant to come with posters. The pink boxes were also released in Europe and Australia, but the boxes did not have a line name on them. Instead, they only had the characters’ names and icons. There were two versions of Meygan. One had her character introduction posted to the inside of the box, the other did not. Bandai distributed the line as New Season in Europe. There are 3 New Season variants. 2 variants have light green boxes. The only differences between the 2 is that one had both the characters’ names and icons on the boxes, whereas the other only had the icons. The New Season dolls were also released with the same pink boxes as the “Xpress It Fashion Collection” variant.
In 2003 a Lil’ Bratz line was released featuring Jade, Yasmin, Sasha, and Cloe wearing miniature versions of the Xpress It clothes. Each doll came with miniature versions of clothes corresponding to their Xpress It Bratz counterparts. Those same miniature clothes and shoes were also used for several Lil’ Bratz fashion packs.
