Bratz facts: Slumber Party Wave 2 uses the same clothes, shoes, and accessories and face screenings as Wave 1, but the dolls have different makeup (except for Meygan, who is identical to Wave 1 Meygan) and holes in the bottoms of their shoes. The most noticeable difference between the two waves is with the boxes. The boxes for the first wave have pink backboards and pink and yellow accessory blisters, whereas the boxes for the second wave have light purple backboards and light and dark purple accessory blisters. The second wave was released as Slumber Party worldwide and the boxes were labeled “Slumber Party Collection” on the top. Some of these boxes occasionally came with purple fuzzy handles instead of pink. The dolls released in the US were the only ones that came with posters and the Toy of the Year sticker. This wave was also released as Soiree Pyjama in various countries.
Each doll came with 2 outfits, one pair of fuzzy slippers, a stuffed animal, a bath robe, an eye mask, overnight Bratzpack bags, and “over 25 accessories in all”.
The Lil’ Bratz Slumber Party line was released in 2003 and included Jade, Yasmin, Sasha, and Cloe wearing miniature versions of the clothes and shoes from this line as well as many of the same or similar accessories. The first outfits of all 5 dolls were also reused for Sleepin’ Style/Sleepover in 2006.
